5 Days unitl 4500 people decend on Gilwell Park, Gembrook.
All the odds and ends are slowly coming together now…. lets hope it all just goes without a hitch….
The back is a little better today, went to the physio and had a massage and some treatment.
Hopefully it will ease off as the week goes on. Back on Friday for another treatment.
Well, better get back to the Cuboree stuff….

Well, this has been a weekend of much deserved rest.
With the clock giving me an extra hour due to day light savings finishing, I had a sleep in til about 9, then was up and bummed around for an hour before headding off to Sunday coffee, to only find them leaving.
So off to HQ (Debs Place) for coffee. Driving over to Debs place, I see Mr. Plod in a Maroon SS Commodore, and 10 mins later, Deb shows up and has a $205 pressie from Mr Plod. Not Happy Jan! 75 in a 50 zone, $205 and 3 points
Then Chairman (Mark), shows up and got pulled up by the same copper outside the front of Flippers (Deb) house. No fine, but got a looking over.
After a few hours of chatting and coffee, time to head on home.
Went for a ride this arvo with the old man. Went out the back of Warrandyte to Maroondah Hwy, then out thru Coldstream towards Yea. Back across the Yarra Valley stopped at Sugarloaf for 10mins and then back thru Christmas Hills, Kangaroo Ground and Eltham.
Tonight, just a quiet one at home in front of the idiot box.

Well yesterday was probably the most relaxing day I have had in some time.
Spent all day in Bed watching DVD’s and then went out to NetRider coffee last night.
On the way home, my back went pop, and today, I can barely move
It is bloody painful!
So it looks like a day of rest again and icing the back
Hopefully it eases up tomorrow.

Well, the week has had it’s ups and downs so far.
Lots of late nights with Cuboree and Work stuff. Finally got the Cuboree mailing stuff out which is a huge job, so I’m glad that is sort of over.
Work, well what can I say. Still the usual headaches, but hey, life goes on I guess. Have a week of leave (well leave for Scout work :P) coming up. I think it will do me some good to get the hell away from that place. Come back with a fresh mind.
The old man went and purchased a bike this week. Some big Yamaha 900, haven’t had a chance to have a good look at it yet, just know that my bike has a friend in the garage now and that there are 2 cars in the driveway
Hopefully will get some riding in on the weekend. Looking forward to getting out on the road for a few hours. Look like the weather will be on my side.
If you haven’t noticed the new links on the left, then make sure you check out the photo gallery. I have finally got some photos from the last few years online
I will slowly start to get some more up there as I take them.
That’s all for now… well all I can think of at this time of night.

What a shithouse week!
Copped abuse left right and centre this week. I can tell you that the moral is down in the shitter at the moment. The motivation is slowly withering away.
Work has been very stressful this week, and the Cuboree stress level is also starting to pick up.
Had to go into work today, NDC (Telstra) had to start installing the new equipment into the office for the ISDN 30, so that’s another day that I really didn’t want to be at work….:(
Pulled the bike to bits today to fit the Ventura Rack, so now I have plenty more storage which is nice
Left my reflective visor at SRESU the other night, so scooted over there this arvo and picked that up, then headded out to Warrandyte for a bit of a ride. There was a HUGE accident in Warrandyte again, didn’t look to good.
I think a nice quiet evening at home is in order, then have some more printing to do for Cuboree tomorrow…

A great weekend of riding in the Melbourne heat!
Saturday arvo, went out with Viv riding out the back of Warrandyte, Kangaroo Ground, Hurstbridge, Eltham for coffee and then home again.
Sunday, went for morning coffee with NetRider at Maccas Mulgrave, then over to Uncle Luke’s to install his car kit, home for a swim and some lunch in the arvo and then a quiet evening at home.
Today, woke up at about 11, jumped on the poota for a half hr or so, then went for a ride with Jules (R1_Lover) up to Mt Dandenong to do some twisties which was fun
Headded up to Sky High (Mt Dandy lookout) to find that they have fully revamped it with stunning new cafe, restaurant and bar! They now charge to go in of course, but you get your $$ back if you spend $$ at the Cafe.
Then down the mountain we came, home to peel off the sweaty clothes, into the pool to de-sweat and then off to NetRider coffee and SRESU Meeting tonight.
Feeling much more confident on the bike after riding all weekend
What a weekend!

What an evening of fun!
After another shitful day at the office, it was great to catch up with all the smiling NetRider faces and tonight was all for a good cause.
Worlds Greatest Shave (or colour… :))
Well, I have the gift of the gab, so yes, I was spruking and pulling in the cash… hehee
I think we did quite well out of it all, well I should say the Lukemia Foundation
Well worth every minute
Tomorrow, off to BikeMart to grab the rack for the bike, then will attempt to fit it and a few days of rest, and riding
Well, the hair is a few different shades of green so its time for a shower and bed.
Cheers,

Well I got my motorbike L’s
Went for a ride this evening and went really well
Spent the day moving Synergy and then went over to HART for my test. This evening over to BikeMart for the NetRider night, got a pair of Cordura Riding pants, nice and warm and some more protection.
Slowly getting over this bout of flu, I am feeling a little better today. Will have a late start in the morning and take it easy for the day.
That’s about it for the day
Look out for me on the bike

Wow - What a weekend!
Considering I had never ridden a bike before, I think I did pretty well!
Got 31/32 on the written part of the test and then failed on the Right Hand Turn where aparantly I went outside the line….
Not to worry, I’ll be back there on Tuesday to have another crack at it, and I think I should have more confidence this time.
Got the bike working yesterday arvo (Thanks to Allan :)) Tinkered around with it for a few hours and bought it back to life again.
Took it for a quick squirt and it goes really nicely. Very Happy
Starting to feel a bit fluey today, not feeling to crash hot. I think a nice early night and hopefully I’ll feel a bit better tomorrow
"If you don’t succeed, bribe the bastard, if that doesn’t work, retake the test :P"

Well, I don’t think that I could read the Bike Learners book any more. Have gone over it every night this week and feel very confident on it.
Can’t wait to actually learn how to ride. Pick up the bike from Ollie tomorrow so will go over it over the next few days, learn the controls, adjust all the bits and bobs so that it’s comfortable then i’ll start some riding on Monday all being well
Work is driving me dotty at the moment, I am working so hard and starting to go nuts, but hey, what do you expect, I’m doing the work of 4 people!
Spent an hour or so today teeing up some stuff for the NetRider Shave for a Cure next Friday (11th @ 6pm, Southbank outside Bear Brass). Should be a good evening for shaving
Tomorrow, install a DSL connection, get the bike, see ollie, then work for a few hours and then Coffee with the NetRider Crew.
