Well, I should have thought back to the days of year 10 science before I put liquid silicon on my bike tyres!

So, an evening of scrubbing the tyres with a scourer and white lilly, has got most of it off, when I get home from work tomorrow evening, I will have to give them another scrub just to make sure they are all good again…. and then keep doing it until they are all good again!

On the work front, busy as per normal. A nice surprise from a company that has been trying to have a meeting with me for 3 months. She calls me up yesterday in a moment of chaos, and I hadn’t had lunch and was really busy, well, told her exactly that, and today a black box shows up with a sandwitch, orange juice and a chocky bar and a note: We couldn’t have you missing lunch 2 days in a row :).

So, after a great sandwich and a big thank you call, I had to call her and make a time to meet… tell me about a quick way to clear the schedule!

Well, beer o’clock it is, and time for some shitty TV and some sleep.

Wow, I’ve been slack….

Well, time to sum up the week.

Wednesday was fun and games with the projector at work being relocated, the slackers stuffed up and tried to give us a dodgy dropper pole which they copped a mouthful over!

Thursday was another busy one with a rush to provision the server and get all the odds and ends tied up for the week. Finished the boardroom remote and then had a Cuboree meeting in the evening.

Friday was fairly uneventful, just finished off provisioning the server and doing all the odd jobs that hadnt been done.

Then went off to Friday coffee and back to HQ for a Netrider party which was good

Saturday, rode into work and provisioned the new server. Took a lot less time than expected to do it, but its all up and running

Then went for a quick ride on Saturday and spent the evening at home with a good curry and beer

Sunday was a fun day, went on a ride with NetRider & OCAU members.
Met up in Roville, then went Cockatoo, Woori Yallock, Warburton, and out to Reefton Spur (15km of awsome twisties!). Stopped at the top of Reefton to have someone pop a beautiful mono and not judge it quite as planned…. bike went one way, he went the other…. Bike a write off….

Then headded into Marysville for lunch which was yummy

Back down thru the Narbethong and the Black Spur which unfortunately was full of cars and stopped in Healsville for a drink and then headded home.

Over to Flippers place last night for SuperBikes, which we didnt watch until about 10.30 … as we went over to the footy club for a few bevvies, and then back to Flippers for SBK’s and beer.

Then the 1am Maccas Run

Today, nice and quiet - a great sleep in, do the washing and then off to coffee tonight.

Today was just tooooo long for the old brain!

At work at 6am for the Electrician - and good old me says "I’ll leave at 4 and head home" … well 7.30pm came and I was still there….. man how time flys when your busy!

Server upgrade this weekend which should all be good. Hopefully that goes smoothly.
Still have to provision the thing tomorrow… that should be a few hours of fun and games.

Have ridden in twice this week which has been good…. just was too tired to this morning so I caged it, which was good, because I was buggered coming home too!

What a good day

A fairly quiet day. Had the car washed, then went for a ride for a few hours, then out for dinner @ Pasta Mania.

A good evening had by all

Then off to HQ to celebrate with Flipper and the NetRider gang @ HQ.

Stumbled out of there at 5am, and then slept until 11

Well another year older…. I guess that means that I’m wiser too

Well hopefully a good day for me. Considering I’ve just rolled out of bed because of all the SMS’s that kept waking me up, I guess that the day can only get better.

Well, after months of leaving messages, and more messages, and umm let me see did I mention leaving a message?? Well, out of the blue, Ms. April decides to call me. Umm, I wonder why… maybe it’s my good look and charm??

Well enough about her, it’s my blog dammit!

Today was another shitty stressful day of writing docco to present to the CEO tomorrow and also doing customer surveys with all the staff. Can’t wait for this meeting to all be over!

Rode into work yesterday and today which nice, and went out for dinner with Luke to Kublai which was yummy

Rest of the week, well hopefully something better will happen, like this work shit settles down….. and then the party of the century, well not really, but my 21st on Saturday

Well, Mr.Ball was seeming very chirpy after his trip from some island with Miss Kristy, and tonight I found out that he popped the question, so Ben and Kristy are getting married YAY FOR BEN & KRISTY

Well my new gadget is super cool! A 20GB Rio Karma (MP3 Player!)
Made by Denon/Marantz, the quality is great, has a EQ and some kwel features like Network, and overlap on songs, also makes playlists to suit a certain time. Still have to play with it more…. struggling to fill it at the moment

Back to work today, and flat bloody chat all day! Shitith has hitith thy fan, and we are fighting some big fires at the moment… not fun

wooooo hoooo

My arse is soggy and sore, but what a fun day that was!

We all met up at Boronia Maccas and then headded up to Sky High, then Yarra Glen for lunch, followed by a trip for some of us who didn’t miss the turn off to Sugarloaf.

Then the plan was out thru Warrandyte, which 4 of us did, then, turned around and did it all again to find the others at the servo in Yarra Glen.

Saw the storm a brewing and thought i’d at least make it to Kangaroo Ground before I got pissed on, but no more than 3 minutes after leaving Yarra Glen, it pissed down.

Visability was down to Sweet FA and the roads were nice and slidy thanks to all the debris that was getting washed onto the road due to the flash flooding.

A safe trip home, and all dry now after getting rid of the soggy undies

Well Cuboree 2005 is all over red rover!

After a nice sleep in this morning, I started to clean up the bedroom, then decided that was too much work, and headed in to BikeMart to grab a new pair of Draggins.

Went and got them shortened, and then home with a fother mucker of a headache. A 30 degree day with a northerly wind is playing with my siunuses big time!

Hopefull it will cool down a bit this arvo and ill take the bike out for a ride and get back out on the road after 2 weeks of the bike collecting dust.

As for Cuboree - Well I should prolly do some more work on the website and get all the photos off the portable hard drive and get them on the Greg’s Photo Gallery… but that might come later in the week

Well back to work next week, started doing invoicing and chasing money last night so hopefully the bank account will be topped up this week.

The new toy for this week has arrived, or so I’ve been told. This will be revealed next post once I pop into work and collect it….

Well with the countdown to the 21st birthday, yes, only 7 days to go, I guess it’s prolly time that I pulled my finger out and organised some type of "party" for my self…. but that can wait… time for a ride…

Well, 18 months of hard work is finally starting to pay off!

3000 odd kids and leaders for the week and lets just say that it has been a bloody hectic week.

I have taken shit loads of photos which are good, and have enjoyed the week off work doing something different.

Have been doing all the media releases which has been fun, kinda like being back in radio again.

Not looking forward to work next week, having the phone off all week has been very nice, then again, the bank account could prolly do with a bit of a top up seeing that I haven’t invoiced in 2 weeks … whoops

My poor bike has been terribly missed

Can’t wait to go home for a nice long ride… I think Sunday there is a ride up the Mountain that I will go on… if I have recovered by then.
