Well a much better day today.

Spent most of the morning trying to sort out an accounting package and got that all sorted out so that was good, then did some work on this proposal. Lots of running around like a headless chook!
Out to the MD’s place and then to a sister company to fix a network point.

This evening, out to dinner with the lovely Kate which was great

What a great person, absoloutely blown away. So down to earth, open, honest, and yeah…. what can I say. Amazing eyes too. Met Mum and Brother, lovely family.

Tomorrow, well it’s World System Administrators Day So ill have to wear a nerdy t-shirt that no one understands and try convince everyone that it actually exists (www.sysadminday.com)

Other than that, I think coffee tomorrow night and then a weekend of nothing all being well

Today, I just did not enjoy one bit. Sometimes workmates just royaly piss you off!

For the sake of the story, “Sanchez” asked for assistance, I asked what would you like assisntance with, and got no response, then get asked 3 hours later, why haven’t you helped me!

WTF! I don’t understand people sometimes!

Oh well…. such is life.

The start of the week was okay. Monday night came home and caught up on some bits and bobs, Tuesday, I popped down to the Wine Larder for a drink and a cuppa, and then today, home after a shity poo poo day

Hopefully the evening is better, I think its time for a beer and some dinner!

Well, what a week it’s been.

Lots going on at work, just hasn’t stopped all week.

I must say that the weather this week has just been spectacular!

Deployed the VPN @ the South East office on Friday which was good to finally finish. Monday had Coffee at Fasta Pasta, Tuesday was at home for a change, Wednesday worked late, Thursday met up with Kate, and Friday went to coffee @ Southbank.

Got my tree photo from Mt Gambier printed and framed which looks great! Thanks to Peter and Bryan:)

Today, went to get the foto from Bryan @ HoGan Gallery, got my pants that I has shortened, then have been working on a PC for a client.

Tonight, Christmas in July dinner for 11th Box Hill Rover Crew, and tomorrow, off to a client in the morning and then if the weather fines up will get out on the bike in the arvo

All in all, not a bad week

Wow, what can I say… These guys just don’t disapoint!

Well, last night, Robyn, Rachael, Orlando, Lil, Jason, Sarah, and my good self, went on down to the Prince of Wales for another awsome Goose experience!

A great opener with Slam Funk Junction…pitty they had to to a few covers… but otherwise they were great! (www.slamfunkjunction.com)

Then the most awsome 2hr set from Goose!(www.goose.com.au)

Caught up with the band after the gig, and they are touring again in August all being well

Then a nice ride home, until SNAP! there goes my clutch again…bugger….

So then it was a race against speed…. in second gear… lol….

Up Blackburn Rd,…. Please change green, please change green…. of course they don’t and I don’t wanna push the thing… so off I go thru the back streets to get around the lights….

Man it was funny…. not really, because I couldn’t ride today and the weather was just perfect… but funny never the less…

Today, not a bad day… sort of just chortled along quite nicely.

Well, so far, so good

Monday was the usual hectic day, Tuesday was a busy day, Ash cancelled dinner on me so I came home and chatted till the wee hours of the morning, Wednesday was good, Lunch with Adam, then Dinner with the NetRider family (Photos in the Gallery), Thursday, not too busy, had a early finish to help Dad out, then had a client, and April cancelled dinner on me, so home in bed on the puter with a glass of red chilling which is good

Tomorrow, have a Macromedia brekky to go to which should be good, then NetRider coffee tomorrow evening.

The weekend… Mike @ OCD on Saturday for the bike, then Lunch with Luke and maybe a ride depending on the weather.

Sunday - GOOSE … YAY! Prince of Wales, 9.30pm… should be a great show. Will be great to catch up with the guys

Well a nice weekend of no work and plenty of rest

Spent most of yesterday chilling in bed on the net, in the morning went for a haircut, then came home and did some washing. Spent the arvo at home, and then over to Flippers’ place for drinks last night.

Today, had a nice sleep in until about 10ish then spent the morning in bed, this arvo, got the bike back, so out for a nice ride and a coffee

Home this evening, TV and I think I feel like nachos for dinner…. I don’t know why….. either that or some contaminated Mars bars….either will do

The week ahead, well most of the evenings are filling up pretty quickly….

Monday - SRESU, Tuesday - Dinner with Ash, Wednesday - NetRider Greek Dinner, Thursday - 3 Clients and Dinner with April, Friday - NetRider Coffee.

So thats the week ahead

Well I get home this evening to hear that there has been a terrorist attack in London.

It just reminded me straight away of 911. This shit just scares the bejesus out of me!

My thoughts are with those in London….. I couldn’t have thought of a worse time for it to happen… 1 day after winning the Olympic bid …

What a bugger….

Well, the rest of the day has been hectic. Busy day at the office followed by 3 clients this evening.

Having the morning off tomorrow to get the brakes in the car changed and the wheels aligned, then headding over to Mike @ OCD and pick up Man Bag.

Then over to work for the arvo. Will prolly go to coffee for a while tomorrow night depending on the wonderful Melbourne weather.

Well … thats all for tonight, time to lie down and watch some more news….

Well, what a day. When it rains, it pours!

2 laptops to get out by 9.30am, followed by phone calls galore and then work work work on a huge presentation that we have to present tomorrow.

It all is looking good I hope it pays off

Then this evening, over the the Wine Larder in Croydon.

A fellow Netrider has a nice little wine, coffee and cheese shop, just off the main strip in Croydon.

A nice evening, glass of wine and a coffee - then a good chat with Tim (the owner) about some most excellent music

Then home to sit on the internet for a few hours and catch up on some email.

All in all, not a bad day. Tomorrow should proove interesting.

Well, it looks like The Whitlams are back for another album

Reading the rumour mill, album should be out September, and tours in September/October!

I so can’t wait!

Well today has been a nice day of rest.

Spent most of it in bed today working on my new little Greg’s Blog Powered By Script which you’ll now see on the right hand side! Full of stupid thing, quips and generally utter crap!

But a bloody good laugh and a bit of fun to make.

Right now I’m sitting at Magic Hand Car Wash in Collingwood, using someones internet… so who ever it is… thanks

You gotta love open wireless access points!

After the car is nice and clean, I have to head across to work and power down all the servers and phone system as the building power is going off tomorrow.

So that shouldn’t take to long to do, but a pain never the less.

Then tomorrow, if the weather holds out, I think I’ll get out for a ride for a few hours, then in the late arvo, have to head back into work to power everything back up again.

Well that’s all for this arvo, time to sit back, have a coffee and sit on messenger while my car is being washed.
