Dec 31

Well, so that was 2005, yes, this is going to be one of those blog entries that looks back on the blog entries of 2005. Some of the highlights, and some of the lowlights :P

January
Well Jan started off the year in true style with the BBQ’s at my place as I do oh so well, followed by my car getting towed, stressful times at work the XFM reunion in Adelaide and catching up with the CJ’s Crew, Seeing the most awsome band, Goose. It saw the launch of Ross & Terri’s Triple J Nanna, My Scout Woodbead Training, and large phone bills.

February
Well started with a week of not blogging. We had the Cuboree open day, which was very very wet, and lots of leaders showed up which was brilliant! I spent some rediculous amounts of money at Red Wing Honda to start my riding off.

Some stressful times at OH with a plasma going kasplat, the new copier arriving, and DVD players going splat too.

There was some more Cuboree stuff, the start of my NetRidering.

March
Well March saw me going for my bike learners, getting a bike, raising about $800 bucks along the Southbank front for Netrider Shave for a Cure, and shitloads of Cuboreeeeeeing. and the old man got a bike too.

April
Well April was Cuboree month, 4500 screaming kids, lots of not sleeping, long days, even longer nights, but a shitload of fun!

I turned 21, and that was a fun night with friends for dinner which followed on with getting very drunk on Flippers roof singing Whitlams until the wee hours of the morning.

May
Well May was an average month at work, We had a great Goose gig at the Espy in StKilda, I had my 1st Motorcycle accident, we went Fox Hunting and ended up in Beechworth, and had to justify my job again!

June
Well ManBag came back and I started riding again, went for some great rides, Won the Australian Fox Hunting champioinships in Mt Gambier, lost 2 pairs of glasses and got my new iBook!

July
Well July saw London with the Olympic Games, and get bombed with a Terrorist Attack a Day Later.
Had a great Goose gig @ The Prince of Wales, follwed by an interesting ride home with no clutch cable.

And to end the month, World System Admins Day.

August
Well August saw a month of good riding, the birth of William for James & Karen, me doing a shitload of reading for my Microsoft exams and then off to Queensland for Microsoft Tech.Ed.

September
Well September was started with Tech.Ed on the Gold Coast, then down to Brisbane to install the VPN in the OH Brisbane office.

Saw the sad passing of a dear friends mum, and went to the Funeral which was lovely.

Was woken at the crack of dawn to hear the Luke’s Scout Hall was on fire after seeing Little Fish that evening with Kate and her family.

Adam turned 21, and did a DVD for his 21st which was nice, and finally admitted that I am an ebayaholic.

October
The month started with me finishing up with Oliver Hume and Virtual Wisdom.

October means JOTA, and Ben and I went galivanting across the state to visit some of the JOTA Sites.

The following day, an early start for me, Motorbike Marshalling for Bike Victoria Ride Around the Bay in a Day. It was an amazing day of 15 hours on the bike clocking up 600 odd k’s.

And October was finished off with a fantastic performance by The Whitlams at the Corner Hotel!

November
November started off with Scouthike up at Mt Disapointment, a great weekend with excellent weather. Time to relax.

A huge effort burning DVD’s for Kent - that was a good solid week of burning.

I passed my Amateur Radio Foundation Licence and got the Callsign VK3FUNK

Started the VicGov work with Ben and started travelling all over the country side.

December
Well December was the month of the broken Blog. All fixed tho and had much catching up to do in the wonderful world of Greg.

December was very busy work wise, with all theh VicGov work and all the other clients aswell.

And then there was Christmas, and the lunch with Ben and Kristie that was great!
