Well, This week has been a week filled with fun and excitement.

Out of the blue I went a purchased a new motorbike! Wooo Hooo

*Greg Does New Motorbike Happy Dance!*

It’s a 2001 Suzuki SV650S in Yellow. I pick it up tomorrow :D

So now, Manbag, my 1997 Suzuki Across is up for sale. More info here!

The rest of the week has been busy doing paper work, paper work and more paperwork to try and finalise the GST which is due on Tuesday.

Friday evening, caught up with Lyns @ The Blue Chair, and on the way there witnessed a ripper of a car accident, so was delayed by about an hour, directing traffic and waiting for Police.

Saturday, well it was wet wet wet. SRESU was helping out with the Boroondara Raft Race on the Yarra, and we finished before it begun. The sky got dark, and then darker, and then the temp dropped 10 degrees in 30 mins, and then came the rain, the thunder and the lightning. So it was decided not to stick kids on the water with lightning rods and rafts, and called the event off.

After drying off, a quiet afternoon relaxing and doing all the washing etc etc, and watched Chopper, then headded over to Debs to celebrate Dave’s birthday.

Today, went and had a new car alarm fitted, then drove out to Healsville to go to the HARG Ham Fest, which when I got there, it was all over red rover, which means it ran for about 2 hrs! So, I jumped in the car and headded back home again.

Tonight, just prep some stuff for tomorrow, and 8pm have the WIA Broadcast and 8.30 the ScoutNet.

So thats the week wrap up. Photos of the new bike to come!

Well, today, I went to a new masseur to have a treatment. Good old remedial massage, well hey, done it a few time, and damn it feels good at the time, but today the after effect has been bloody awful!

My whole back has tensed up and feels worse than when I went in…… bugger!

Oh well… hopefully the osteopath will be able to do something about it on Wednesday.

Went and saw Just Friends with Lyns on Sunday and that was good. A very funny and a bit of trash movie. A must see for a bit of brainless humour.

Saturday arvo picked the bike up from Mike @ OCD Racing and went for a bit of a blat thru the hills, out thru Yarra Glen and Kinglake. Played chasey with an SV1000 thru Yarra Glen which was fun. My poor little 250 was screaming like a mosquito on ecstacy.

Saturday evening popped over to Fitzroy Street for coffee @ Cleopatra’s with some of the Netrider guys and gals.

Today, a pretty busy day. Tomorrow I really have to do some work on my GST which I have been trying to motivate myself to do for like 2 months, but if I don’t do it then ill end up with another $300 fine, and I can’t give the government any more money than they already get from me!

Well, time to watch the late news and catch some kip!

Well, once again, a long time between blogs.

Another busy week of work last week, and then the weekend…. YAY! WEEEKEEEEND!!!!!!

Saturday - A morning of rushing around. Went and got a hairy, then took the dogs to the vet, and christ all mighty, these guys know how to make money. I think its as good as the surgeon doing my wisdom teeth!

Took Dad over to Red Wing Honda to get his birthday present, a new pair of motor bike boots, then did an hour of work, and up to Clifford Park for the Radio Service Play Weekend.

Stuffed around up there for a few hours, Al and Hebble built a few 80m/40m dipoles and got them working and it was nice just to relax for a few hours in the fresh air and enjoy the weather.

Sunday Lyns and I went to the Zoo with her Dad, Jodi, Aiofe and the Birthday Boy, Patrick, for his 2nd birthday.

I haven’t been to the zoo for years and years, so it was a nice chance to go and have a look and take some photos!

This was the seals just after feeding. Man they were energetic little buggers! They sure keep the crowd amused.

Once we had been around, we ended up in the Butterflies. It wasn’t as hot in there as I remembered. It also wasnt as big as I remembered it. But it was still pretty amazing.

Once we had done most of the zoo we were pretty tired, and the sun was certainly warming up (32 degrees) so Lyns and I crashed under a tree for a while.

All in all a nice day at the Zoo.

Monday was hectic with work, as was Tuesday. I seemed to be running about an hour behind the whole day which was just nuts.

And being valentines day yesterday, I decided to play Lynsey a little surprise at work… and serenaded her with some lovely roses at Safeway :P The look on her face was priceless. At first I don’t think she realised it was me. :D

And today, a quiet one planned of catching up on paper work, collecting orders and tonight out to dinner with Lyns for our 1 mth. Going to a lovely restaurant, The Rocks @ Mornington

Well thats pretty much the last week wrap up!

Time to jump in the car and collect some goods from suppliers.

Well, this week is a bit of a slow news week really.

As per the last few weeks, have been as busy as anything with work, and it looks like its going to be the same for the next few weeks at the moment. But, on the up side, I really should shut up and stop complaining coz knowing my luck I’ll curse myself….. (runs and grabs a four leaf clover, puts garlic around neck, makes sure no black cats, mirrors or ladders around…..OK, should be curse free now…phew :P )

Had Cat’s Memorial Service on Tuesday evening which was good. We had a great biker turn out from both Aus.Moto and Netrider, and the 2nd Springvale Scout Group put on a really nice service and a tue Scouting supper :)

Was listening to the radio the other day and on came Robbie Williams - Angels. Well this was the song played at Cats funeral…. and at first I was teary, but then by the end of the song, all I could think about was Cats infectious smile. And then I was grinning….

Right now, I’m sitting here doing some late night remote work on a server… was sort of drifting off to sleep in bed, then went, OH SHIT, I forgot to do that work I promised… so here I am, sitting here waiting for a server to reboot blogging…. How sad…. :P

Well, I’m sure it’s up by now. Time to keep working.

Catch you on the flipside.

Well, a nice day of sleep, catching up on a hell of a lot of email and all the things like washing and cleaning up.

I am absolutely buggered after the week that I’ve had.

With taking on Rudi’s customers this week, the week has got very busy, but that’s only for a month, and then it should all quiet down again.

Well, had the X-rays done on Wedneday, and went and saw the specialist on Thurday, and the wisdom teeth have to come out. So in March, into hospital for a “day procedure” which will take a whole 20 minutes and cost $1500, and give me a pain in the mouth for about a week. Oh Joy!

Thursday, Lyns and I went into the city down to Bennetts Lane and caught a small Jazz outfit called The Situationist, a 6pc out of Melbourne.

The Situationists are:
Anton Delecca – saxophones, Craig Fermanis – guitar, Joe Talia – drums, Jonathan Zion – bass, Nasrine Rahmani – percussion and Darrin Archer – keyboards.

Tonight, just a relaxing evening at home, and tomorrow is Dad’s birthday, so most likely will go out for dinner or lunch with the fam, and catch up with Lyns.

The week ahead, starting to fill up at the moment - but hopefully will be nice and stable and just be nice and smooth with no unexpected things just popping up….. but knowing my luck, I’m dreaming!

Tuesday, have the memorial service for Cat at 2nd Springvale, which should be a good evening.

Well time to do some more nothing, and bumb in front of the TV for the evening.
