Well, you guessed it, I’m back in sunny Albury. Man oh man is it dry out here. I have been here since lunch time today and it is just hot and dry. They are about 12 days of about 35 degree heat. We have had it hot in Melbourne, but I’m not sure it I could handle the constant heat up here!

So the last week, well it sure has been busy. Lot’s on, plenty more to come in the next few weeks.

Last night I went out with a lovely lass, Ximena. We went to a great restaurant in St. Kilda, Mash I had a great Lamb Salad with a lemon dressing and Ximena had roasted mushrooms. A great night and we really clicked, so hopefully something more comes out of it :D

Up in Albury for the next few days. It’s meant to only be 2 days, but I think that it might be more like 3 or 4.

Been over at the directors house of the company that I’m up here for this evening. Had a nice BBQ, kicked back with him and another one of his employees, had a feed, and a drink or 2 or 3 or … well I kinda lost count. But it was a great bottle of red none the less.

Home now to a lonely hotel room, my usual Albury Golf Club. The only place in town that offers decent rooms, at a decent rate with broadband included! It’s not the fastest, but it’s internet none the less!

Well, time to watch some tellie and get some sleep. An early start in the morning and hopefully will get out of Albury tomorrow afternoon. I have enough to do in Melbourne and don’t need to be stuck here for another day!

Well what a day it has been. I decided to rock on to the sounds of the St Kilda Festival this morning, so at about midday I jumped on the bike to fight the masses.

After riding up footpaths, around barriers and dodging security guards, I managed to get the motorbike up in a nice area where a lot of other bikes had propped themselves.

As much as it was a great idea transport wise to take the bike, it was damn uncomfy in the bike boots all day, and carrying around my jacket was a pain in the arse, although did proove helpful for something to sit on.

The main to acts I went to see today were Blue King Brown and The Audreys and man was it worth every cent (considering it didn’t cost me a thing!)

Blue King Brown were up first and they absolutely ROCKED OUT! The are just such an amazing group with such political messages that they are not only great to listen to musically, but also poetically.

Then the wind started blowing, and man did it blow! The grass was going EVERYWHERE! And worst of all, in your eyes.

The Audreys came on and did their thing, they were also really good. I have really got into their new album, and they have had some great exposure on JJJ and on ABC2 when they did a massive Aus Music Month of specials.

Caught up with Al who was working at the festival for a while, and then scooted off home to get out of the sun as I could feel that I was cooking at one hell of a rapid pace!

Got home to find that I now resemble something that looks like a tomato, and my arms and neck are much the same! I really should know better as to go out without sunscreen on! :(

So I’m sure I’ll pay for that for the next few days, but hey, it was all worth it.

What’s on for the week ahead? Well at this point in time, only have a handfull of jobs booked in, but have a mound of paperwork that needs doing, my gst is due and I haven’t even started to look at that, and I really should invoice as I haven’t done that in a few weeks either.

And then there is the 4 websites I have to do. So all in all, there is heaps to do! Where do I find more time!

Well, that’s it for me, I am pooped! The Aussies are getting their arses kicked in the cricked which really sucks and play is on hold for the rain in Sydney which doesn’t look like it will blow over any time soon, so I think it will be off to Adelaide for the decider betweek Australia and England.

Time for some more water (very very dehydrated!) and then some sleep!

Yes, I’ve been slack, entry number one for February 2007.

Man how the year is flying by already.

Last week was good work wise, very busy as always, but certainly a good week all in all.

Thursday the car went in for the signage to be finished and it came out reaaly reaalllly well :D

Friday, the Weekend Rider Melbourne posse took Renee from queensland out for dinner which was a great evening!

Saturday I worked for some of the day and chilled out for the rest of it. Sunday caught up with the Pink Ribbon girls for our first meeting of 2007.

This week, another busy start on Monday. Tuesday took most of the day off for Ben’s mums funeral which was put a bit of a downer on the day.

The car went in for a gas conversion on Monday and Tuesday which should hopefully save me some brass razoo’s :D

Today, another hectic day - and now what looks like a few more hectic months. A few big things fell into place today which was nice, so that sets things up quite nicely which is always good.

What’s on for the rest of the week? More of the same really. This weekend hope to get out for a nice ride and a bit more relaxing …. i hope!

Well, off to finish ebay on my Stupor Ego Whitlams CD! :D Its up to about $200….. yes I’m nuts :P
