Well it’s certainly been a while since I’ve sat down here and dribbled shit. Life has been rather hectic on the work front and has left little to know time at all of late to have “me” time.
Few weeks back managed to squeeze in a few Whitlams shows, one on the Friday night @ Ruby’s in Belgrave and Saturday night @ The Corner Hotel in Richmond. Was great to have the guys back in Melbourne. The Ruby’s show was very “Bogan” as you’d expect for Belgrave, but as always, the Corner was it’s usual self going off as it always does. Managed to score some great new posters out of it too! 
and grabbed the new Whitlams Single (available now in all good and some bad record shops!)
On the Friday night at the Ruby’s gig I bumped into Hayley as I was arriving and helped out with the merch for the two nights which was great fun to do and to catch up with Hayley aswell who will be coming to a city near you soon for the Crusty Demons tour, so say hi if you’re going and buying merch! 
What else is happening… on the work front, I’m being head hunted for work again, which is really frustrating when I’m busy enough with all of my own shit at the moment, to be thinking about that at the same time is one hell of a distraction. The next few weeks are filling up, off to Albury for the end of next week, and plenty to do in Melbourne still.
Last week got stuck in Albury for the day and came home with food poisoning which had me in bed for 4 days and not eating. I don’t think that I have been in that much pain in such a long time, come to think of it, I really haven’t been sick in a long time, prolly 5 or 6 years. So that was one “fun” experience. The toilet and I are well acquainted now 
But back on top of things this week, slowly the guts are recovering and the week is certainly prooving to be a fun filled one!
This weekend, well for a change, it’s actually looking fairly blank at this stage! WOoooo HOooooo! Ash wanted to go to the Warrandyte festival on Saturday, so we might go and do that, and then Saturday night Blue King Brown are playing a free show as part of the cultural festival thing with the FINA world champs, so I might even get a change to head in there and catch their performance which would be really good!
Other than that, the love life is quiet, the social calendar is reasonably average, the work load is way to much and all in all I’m alive kicking and still smiling as per usual. 
Well gotta fly, off to make some phone calls and dash out to the first customer for the day.
