Well, it’s been a while between drinks. Let’s recap a bit on the last week and a bit….

Well a week and a bit ago a farewelled Kate as she sets off on here world wide whirlwind tour. First stop Canada then on to take over the world! Check out Kate’s adventures Here!

Then Friday didn’t come around fast enough and off to Brisvegas I went. With Brig and Julz in toe, we were there for a weekend of fun and riding with the Weekend Rider Crew. I left without anyone offering to pillion me to get there and be offered a Yamaha R6! Man, that thing has POWER! Two settings… fast and f**king fast! Thanks sooooooo much to Rob for lending me his pride and joy for the weekend. It was muchly appreciated and great to get out and ride the Brisbane roads.

I must say that they do have some great roads, but they just don’t compare to the Victorian roads in both type and surface quality.

Saturday afternoon after riding all day we went back to where we were staying and I was so tired that I fell asleep on the floor while I was stretching my back. 2 Hours past and it was time to start thinking about getting ready for the eviction party @ Renee and Robs place.

A great night was had partying before Brig didn’t feel to good and we headed home to crash before heading back to Melbourne the following morning.

This week has been mighty painful with a couple of bulged discs in my mid back and my usual right scapula playing up more than usual. Both Panadine Forte and Nurofen just haven’t taken the edge off it, so I think this week will be off to the Chiro, Osteo or Physio to get cracked and prodded and hopefully that resolves or at least releaves some of the pain.

Well the end of the week couldn’t have come quick enough, and Friday afternoon I picked up my new car, 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium :D

Wow, what a fun car it is! I am going to have some fun driving this. A completely different driving experience to the trusty old Falcon.

Yesterday a bit of Pink Ribboning followed by Deb & Daves engagement party and today I went and caught up with Caro for a late breakfast/brunch/lunch or what ever you call it and home to clean up the house a bit, a few loads of washing and crash on the couch to watch some trashy Big Brother seeing that that seems to be the only crap on tele.

What’s on for the week ahead…

Well, another busy one by the looks of it, Thursday off to Albury again, and Friday stuck in training all day at this stage so 5 days crammed into 3 is always fun, especially given that the month of April has pretty much been 4 weeks of 4 days rather than 5…..

Well, off to keel over and watch some trash….

Have a good week y’all.

managed to unWiki the Wiki! :P

My contribution to Nhill…

Nhill has 3 pubs, 2 pizza shops, a Train Station where the train doesn’t stop, 2 truck stops, sees 1500 trucks a day, 50 odd teachers, lots of inbred people, Thursday Nights at the Imperial is $9 Chicken Snitzel night but you must pre-book, the swimming pool has more water than all the dams in town and the best thing about the town is the Western Highway (to get you the hell out of there!) oh, don’t forget the biggest silo in the Southern Hemisphere! (and if you don’t believe me just ask Julie-Ann!)

My god, another year down, and I’m nearly another year older.

Well what a god damn hectic week it has been with Ash & Matt moving all their shit in and me moving my office out of the spare room and into the living room…. Why do I do this to myself!

Anyhoo, that’s all sorta sorted now… just moving all the little bits and bobs trying to find room for everything.

Yesterday managed to sort out 6 months of paperwork and filiing… it was sorta time to get the in tray cleaned up…whoops! Then last night went over to Mel’s place for her house warming / birthday party and drinks.

Friday night was Kate’s going away party before she dashes off overseas for four months for a nice lavished holiday… followed by coming home and passing out on the couch watching a movie and being woken by Ash when she couldn’t find her way home from work…. mind you she finished at 8pm… and the phone rang at 12.30am… :(

Well today was a nice sleep in then jumped on the bike and headed out for a few hours and clocked up another few hundred k’s which was great! Up to Healesville, through the Black Spur, then Narbethong, Buxton, a fun road that I can’t remember the name of but cuts from Alexandra through towards Molesworth, then over to Yea for a visor wipe and back down the Melba Highway to Yarra Glen and home.

This arvo, just kicking back on the couch enjoying the last day of being 22.

The week ahead… well another busy one by the looks of it. Tuesday an early start to take Kate to the airport and Friday I’m off to Brisbane for the weekend to go and play motorbikes with the Weekend Riders crew.

Well that’s about all for one week… oh, those looking for my Wikipedia addition… It got pulled! :( Damn Wiki mods! :P

Have a good week y’all.

Well, what a weekend! One hell of a lot of driving over the last few days.

Thursday saw a day of catching up on paperwork, then a bit of running around. Over to Ben’s to grab some equipment and have a bite to eat. Friday was up to Mt. Dissapointment State Forest for Hoadley Hide. Nice and dusty and I must say it would have to be some of the best weather that I’ve seen on a Scouting Evening in a long long time.

Friday night was back to Melbourne, but there is always surprises, nearly collecting a roo and then a Wombat! Just what I don’t need!

Saturday went over to Slims to say g’day before dashing over to Lysterfield park to go and setup some equipment for the Bike Race on Sunday.

Saturday evening was fun fun fun with Ashlea & Matt’s Engagement Party which was great fun and got to catch up with people who I haven’t seen in a while.

Sunday was back up to Dissa to continue the Hoadley shinanigans. I must say that last night around the fire, shinanigans were certainly had, and I don’t think I have laughed that much in a very very long time! What was all this laughing about you ask, well, you sorta had to be there, but just check out the Wikipedia on Nhill and I’m sure you’ll work out my addition to it! :P It was a massive laughing and bagging session of poor Julie-Ann and here hole of a town, Nhill.

Monday (today) I finished up at Hoadley to drive up to Albury for a day of work tomorrow, then back to Melbourne tomorrow afternoon and the rest of the week will be pretty full on by the looks of it.

What else is news… Well I went out and started looking at new cars as my current lease is out, and ended up settling on a Subaru Outback, so all being well, the new car will be here within the next few weeks which will be nice.

Other than the above, all has been reasonably quiet in my world.

Well, time to get off the net as this dialup is just way to painfully slow and the phone call is probably costing me an absolute fortune all because the broadband here at the hotel isn’t working! grrr!

Have a good week y’all.
